PRIDEUSA FMCSA Brokers

FMCSA’s complaint database now takes broker and training-provider complaints. Use it; do not tweet the MC

Phase one of NCCDB modernization adds property-broker complaint categories at nccdb.fmcsa.dot.gov; it is a federal inbox, not a Google review.

FMCSA’s complaint database now takes broker and training-provider complaints. Use it; do not tweet the MC

What the notice actually said

Drivers who got stiffed by a broker, shippers who got a hostage household-goods job, carriers who watched a training mill — this is the federal inbox. Phase one is navigation, response time, and new categories. It does not replace a police report, a civil claim, or a phone call to the person who actually owes you money.

USDOT’s April 2026 launch puts the modernized National Consumer Complaint Database at nccdb.fmcsa.dot.gov. The existing paths for household goods, safety, and fraud remain. The new one that matters on a freight desk is the property-broker category. Training-provider complaints sit in the same modernization family the scorecard also mentioned. Tweet-the-MC is still not a filing.

Phase two will add features and a new name. That sentence is why we will not tattoo “NCCDB” on a process map as if the acronym is eternal. The function is the official complaint hole. The label may change. Use the URL in the release until the agency moves it.

A complaint does not automatically ban a carrier or a broker. It starts an agency process. That is slower than a one-star review and more useful than a Facebook thread when the issue is actually FMCSA-regulated. Rate-market disappointment is not a regulatory complaint. “The DAT print moved” does not belong here.

What it changes on Monday

If the problem is PRIDEUSA, call dispatch first: +1 (847) 702-8181. We would rather fix a live load than read about it in a federal portal. If the problem is a broker who is not us, NCCDB is the right federal tool. We will not file it for you as a sales trick, and we will not ghostwrite a complaint to pressure a competitor.

Monday’s tender still wants a licensed broker and a packet. If you already have a double-broker mess, the guidance page and this portal are the two federal sentences that apply. See broker versus agent for the definition, and For Brokers if you want to tender to us the ordinary way.

Household-goods hostage loads belong in NCCDB and at ProtectYourMove.gov. We are not a moving van line. Do not tender a three-bedroom to MC# 875229 and then file a complaint when we say no. Operation Protect Your Move is the HHG chapter.

Our reviews stay on Google. Industry complaints that are actually regulatory belong in NCCDB. Mixing the two is how a late appointment becomes a federal case it did not need to be.

What we will — and will not — do

We will answer the phone when the problem is our truck. We will not file an NCCDB complaint on your behalf to win a lane, and we will not treat a portal ticket as a substitute for talking to dispatch.

We will not bid household goods, and we will not pretend a dry-van rate dispute is a safety complaint. Use the category that matches the facts.

Dispatch: +1 (847) 702-8181. Portal: nccdb.fmcsa.dot.gov. Packet: For Brokers. Those are three different doors on purpose.

Read the government original first. This page is our translation for people who quote lanes and hire drivers — not a substitute for the rulebook.

This page is an industry briefing for shippers, brokers, and drivers. It is not legal advice. Confirm current rules in the Federal Register and on FMCSA.gov before you change a process.

FAQ

Can I complain about a dry-van rate in NCCDB?

NCCDB is for regulatory complaints (safety, fraud, household goods, and now property brokers), not for the market moved. A DAT print is not a federal filing.

Is the broker category actually new?

Yes — phase one adds property-broker complaint categories for the first time, per USDOT. Phase two will rename the system and add more features later.

Does a complaint automatically ban a carrier?

No — it starts an agency process. It is not a kill switch and it is not a substitute for a police report or a civil claim.

What if I have a household-goods hostage load?

Use NCCDB and ProtectYourMove.gov. We are not a household-goods mover and we will not bid a three-bedroom onto a 53-foot dry van.
